We value your privacy as much as we do our own, so we\re committed to keeping your personal and business information safe. We’re uncomfortable with the information companies, governments, and other organisations keep on file, so we ask for only the bare minimum from our customers. We’ll never use your personal information for any reason other than why you gave it, and we’ll never give anyone access to it unless we’re forced to by law.

2.2. How We Collect Information

We ask for contact information including the name and email address of anyone you are booking for on our website so that we can keep track of attendees, and so we can keep you updated about our events.

You must ensure you have full consent from anyone you are booking for in order to provide us with their name, email address, requirements and marketing opt-in.

Our website uses Google Analytics to keep track of visits to the site. Data sent to Google Analytics is anonymised - we don’t use it to track anything that can be associated with your contact information.

2.3. What Information We Hold

When you book through our website, we collect your name, email address, and any requirements or preferences you specify which is handled by our ticketing service, Pretix, in accordance with their Privacy Policy (Pretix's Privacy Policy)

If you pay using your credit card, we also transfer your details to our payment provider, Stripe (Stripe's Privacy Policy).

If you pay using PayPal, your details are collected in accordance with their Privacy Policy (PayPal's Privacy Policy).

We never store or have access to your credit card information.

When you give us your email address, it is added to our marketing platform, MailChimp (MailChimp's Privacy Policy).

When you book one of our events, we keep track of whether you attended.

2.4. What We Use Your Information For

We will use your email address to contact you with information about the event you have booked for and, if you have opted in for additional communications, about future events.

You will always have the opportunity to unsubscribe from future emails from us using the link at the bottom of all our emails.

Your requirements will be used to ensure we can cater the event to your needs, but this information will never be shared.

2.5. Who's responsible for your information at our company

Denise Williams-Usher, our Data Protection Officer, is responsible for the security of your information. You can contact them by email at [email protected] if you have any concerns about the information we store.

2.6. Who has access to information about you

When we store information in our own systems, only the people who need it have access. Our management team have access to everything you’ve provided, but individual employees have access to only what they need to do their job.

The third parties mentioned above have access to information only when it is needed for them to provide the service they offer us.

2.7. The steps we take to keep your information private

We only ever store data in systems that have proven, trusted security protocols and have privacy policies in compliance with GDPR.

If your data ever leaves these systems, for example when it is printed for event attendance information, it is kept in a secure lock box and destroyed when it is no longer needed.

We will refund the full price of any bookings made up to 7 days before the day of the booked event.
